First the “declaration”, now our freedom of speech? This will never end.

It seems avid food blogger, Kaelyn Ong, has fallen victim to this “controlled” social media environment where people just want to hear glorified pieces of their product/services regardless whether they paid for it or not. This is not new, I recall being asked to remove an entry for saying I didn’t really like this particular person – didn’t do it of course. So, I guess writing about a bad is so much more severe?

Receiving a phone call, my sister asked, “Is the ground shaking?” It seems an earthquake has struck Indonesia and residents in Singapore were slight affected.

“An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 has struck western Indonesia, says Indonesia’s meteorological agency. Tremors have been reportedly felt in certain parts of Singapore as well, including Toa Payoh, Bukit Panjang, Marine Parade and Whampoa.”

The worst or perhaps most ideal scenario has finally taken place. Miss World Singapore winner Ris Low has officially stepped down from the crown and backed out of the finals in Johannesburg, South Africa in December.

The 19-year-old beauty queen said, “I feel that it would be better for everyone, including Singaporeans who are not very supportive of me going to this pageant.” She added, “This is actually the best for everybody, including the company, the public and for myself.
