LG PRADA Asian Launch: What the bloggers have to say?
Do you remember the LG Prada Asian launch event held a couple of week ago? During the event, apart from the traditional media, bloggers were invited as well.
Well, here’s the list of Singapore bloggers that attended and wrote about it:
Nicholas (fron CNET) says, “The best thing is that it’s water-resistant up to 30m. This means you can read your SMSes while swimming. OK, maybe you won’t do that, but it’s still cool to know who’s calling you when you are taking a dip, right?”

Note: Well, if I do get the Prada Link, Nicholas is probably right, I doubt I’d want to bring it down into the water with me. That said, I’m not big on swimming.
IZ Reloaded says, “At first glance, the new Prada phone looks like its predecessor but this latest collaboration between LG and Prada has a lot of improvements such as LG’s latest active flash UI technology and haptic feedback on touch input enhancing the experience of the phone’s exclusive contents offerings.”

Note: If you read IZ Reloaded’s full entry, you will also find a video he took during the event.
Jaymes says, “If I carry the Prada phone and wear the Prada watch, I look like James Bond. haha….. very cool gadgets.”
Note: Well, hopefully Jaymes doesn’t get carried away and tries any spy-stuns eh?
Priss says, “what really sets the LG Prada phone apart from its competitors is the sleek and stylish fashion accessory launched with the Prada phone – the Prada Link.” She adds, “I’ll blog about my experience at the LG Prada event, the six stars St Regis hotel, other bloggers I met (including KennySia and other international bloggers!) and the pictures soon!”

Note: I’m not sure about the rest of the reader, but I’ll be looking forward to her next entry!
Shynessa says, “LG Prada II caught my eyes months back, while I was browsing the internet. The moment I saw this phone, I told myself, I finally found my dream phone! Must have must have! So.. I’ve been waiting for it’s release ever since!”

Note: I’m afraid that I’ll not be hearing the last of this… Shynessa happens to be my sister.
DK says, “But the thing that got me excited is the Prada Link. Prada Link is a Bluetooth watch which allows you to view text message and incoming caller id without the need to take out your beautiful Prada phone from your beautiful Prada handbag.”

Note: I’m hoping DK doesn’t have one of those “handbags” he mentioned…
Nichole says, “First impressions of trying it out, the User Interface is eye catching, with a minimalist Black and White theme, and the icons are well-defined.”
Note: Second to that. It is indeed eye catching.
Peggy says, “Even though LG mentioned that it’s targeted for the majority, I believe that it’s more suitable for men, from the appearance of the watch itself. It’s certainly ideal for the working class (:”

Note: I wonder what would Prada think after seeing Peggy with her LV bag. ;x
Claire says, “And its LG Prada phone (which my title suggested) with a Qwerty keyboard for all heavy message user like me. Hooray!”
Note: Hmmm…. Kids these days seem to text alot eh?
Andy says, “With the Prada Link, You can read your sms-es, reject calls etc. Which is a good thing as you don’t have to keep taking out your phone from your pocket or bag. (However, if you wanna reply/pick up a call, you will have to take the phone out.)”

Note: Eh, can you image a Prada watch with a Qwerty keyboard on it? Not very Prada-ish if you ask me.
Jacelyn says, “The 3-inch touchscreen is pretty responsive even with my long nails.” She adds, “I can put it into use when my nails are getting in the way. It’s sleek, classy, yet versatile.”

Note: It’s a pity Jacelyn didn’t post a photo of her long nails. I would very much like to see how long exactly it is.
Bloggers from across Asia were also invited to witness this launch.

I don’t have a Prada handbag lah. But if they have backpack or laptop bag, I don’t mind.
